Hydrogen and UFO Plasma Propulsion Theories.
Simple Question: Can Hydrogen be used to create Plasma?

Hydrogen plasma is formed through a process called ionization, where energy is added to hydrogen gas to strip electrons away from the hydrogen nuclei (protons). Because hydrogen has a simple atomic structure—one proton and one electron—it is one of the most common gases used in plasma research and industrial applications.
For years I’ve been lecturing about how Hydrogen is the key element for UFO’s visiting this planet. As an investigator, I’ve learned a common thing about UFOs is, they like to hang around water sources. From flying crafts to Balls of Light (probes), and even Cattle Mutilations, there’s always a water source nearby. Coincidence? I don’t think so.
One of my blogs “Hydrogen! Do Aliens Like It?”, dated Sept. 2021, I wrote about my hypothesis that Aliens are using hydrogen resources here on Earth, which is also the most abundant element in space too! Stars like our sun consist mostly of hydrogen and in a recent article from NASA, it appears there’s more Hydrogen in space than we once thought. So, this is a perfect element for use of energy for UFO propulsion systems to be able to travel through space.
Water or H2O, contains one oxygen and two hydrogen atoms, so there’s plenty of hydrogen there. But hydrogen can also be extracted from other sources too, one being fossil fuels.
Hydrogen is found in natural forms like, hydrocarbons which are found in natural gas, coal, and petroleum. Water not only covers 71 percent of the Earth, but latest studies claim there’s more water underground than on its surface. This makes Earth a very unique planet, but our planet is also an abundant source of fossil fuels which hydrogen can be extracted from. If Hydrogen is an important element for a specific species of Aliens, then our planet becomes very attractive to them.
There are many Ufologists’ who theorize Plasma is the key to UFO propulsion and I tend to agree with them because my focus has always been on the element Hydrogen. Stars like our Sun, are basically massive balls of hydrogen Plasma. The Sun uses hydrogen as its primary “raw material” for creating plasma by stripping the electrons off of hydrogen atoms using extreme temperatures. Then the Sun’s core uses Plasma as the medium for Nuclear Fusion which provides its energy which in-turn is used to sustain life.
The Hydrogen-to-Plasma Process: (Some info taken from Google AI Mode.)
- Hydrogen Gas (H): The process starts with neutral hydrogen atoms (one proton, one electron).
- Thermal Ionization: In the Sun’s core and atmosphere, extreme heat (millions of degrees) forces atoms to collide so violently that electrons are stripped away.
- Plasma State: This creates a high-energy of free protons (H+) and free electrons (e-).
The Ultraviolet (UV) Output:
Once in the plasma state, energy is released through nuclear fusion and thermal agitation. This energy moves toward the surface (the photosphere) and the outer atmosphere (the corona).
- Thermal Radiation: The hot plasma in the Sun’s upper atmosphere, reaches temperatures over a million degrees.
- Wavelength Emission: At these temperatures, the plasma vibrates and accelerates charged particles, emitting high-energy light. While much of the Sun’s light is visible, the hotter regions of the plasma atmosphere specifically emit Ultraviolet (UV) waves and X-rays.
Plasma and UFOs:
If UFOs are using Hydrogen in a device that artificially creates plasma, “The fourth state of Matter”, then the plasma can function as a high-efficiency power source.
Newton’s Third Law of Motion:
“Every action in nature there is an equal and opposite reaction.” Using Newton’s Third Law, the UFOs we are seeing must have some type of energy being used to accelerate at fantastic speeds.
If UFO’s are using hydrogen for plasma generators, then not only would they have that efficient power source, but they would be emitting a large electromagnetic field (EMF) too! This would account for battery drain and electronics temporarily not working when UFOs are nearby. This have been reported by witnesses and UFO investigators including me.

While shooting an episode for a SyFy TV series, me and the production crew were tent camping out in the New Mexico desert not far from the Roswell Debris (skip) Site. Camping near the once famous, “Hines House”, something happened while we were sleeping. We woke up the next morning to find the batteries in our vehicles were drained, and our cell phone batteries and the production crew’s camera batteries were drained too! Luckly archeologist Dr. Bill Doleman and his crew showed up an hour or so later, so we used jumper cables to start the vehicles which we then used to re-charge all the batteries.
What happened that night? Did something fly over while we were sleeping or… does a strong residual electromagnetic field still exist from the 1947 crash? We were camping right next to the Hines House, which Mac Brazel had stored crash debris in. Also, when I flew my drone at the debris site later on another visit, there were issues trying to get the drone in the air. I finally placed the drone on the bed of my truck so I could get lift off.
Years before when my wife and I and our children were in a rental jeep driving at night near one of the Vortex’s at Sedona, Arizona, while just passing a Vortex location, the new Jeep we had rented died. Engine and lights went out, just like what happened to Richard Dyeyfuss’s character Roy, in the movie, Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Well, when the Jeep died, I rolled off to the side of the road and attempted to get out to see if something was flying over us, but my wife grabbed my arm and made me stay in the Jeep. Ha ha… A minute later, the lights came back on in the Jeep and I was able to re-start the engine and head back to our campsite.
Did something fly over us that was creating an enormous electro-magnetic field? Battery drain is nothing new to UFO Field Investigators, it happens to us all the time, and when it does, we know we’re in the right place.
So why can’t we see any physical means of propulsion like the UFO’s exhaust? Well, the exhaust from a UFO would be in the ultraviolet wavelength which would be invisible to us, thus making it appear as some type of anti-gravity device. There are also other indicators that Hydrogen/Plasma energy is used.
A Plasma Generator using Hydrogen could also create a plasma shield or field surrounding the UFO. This shield or field could cause a glowing “aura”, or a “shimmering” air effect which multiple eyewitnesses have claimed to have seen.
Seeing these Plasma characteristics could be perceived as the craft having some type of anti-gravity device by eyewitnesses. Also, Hydrogen isn’t the only element that can create plasmas. Here’s a list of industry standard elements that can create stable, affordable, or highly reactive plasmas. But you can see, Hydrogen is the element used for nuclear fusion plasmas.
- Argon (Ar): The most common gas used in laboratories and industry. It is chemically inert, relatively cheap, and easy to ionize with low energy. It is frequently used for plasma cleaning and etching.
- Helium (He): Often used to stabilize plasma discharges because of its high thermal conductivity. It is common in medical applications and research reactors.
- Nitrogen (N₂): Used extensively in plasma cutting for stainless steel and aluminum because it provides excellent cut quality and long tool life.
- Hydrogen (H): The primary fuel for nuclear fusion plasmas. In industry, it is often mixed with argon to create high-temperature “argon-hydrogen” plasmas for cutting thick metals.
So, is the “Hydrogen and UFO Plasma Propulsion Theory” valid? There appears to be enough evidence that UFOs tend to like water. And what about Cattle Mutilations or Animal Mutilations in general, they’re always near a water source. And how about the UFOs seen near streams, rivers and lakes? There is a connection and I believe that connection is Hydrogen. Also, extracting Hydrogen from water will leave just Oxygen which will then go into our atmosphere. Pretty untraceable. But using Hydrogen to create a Plasma Energy source wil create a large electro-magnetic field which we can detect.
In closing, there’s nothing “spooky” about UFOs, it’s just technology we’re trying to understand. We’re getting closer to finding the some of the answers we’re looking for, but until then, it’s a lot of fun trying to figure it all out.
