Deputy Fired Over UFOs? Not Any More!

February 17, 2011 : Reserve Deputy Terminated for Contradicting Department on Horse Mutilation!

“Those who speak up face ridicule, or even worse!”

“They took my badge, but they can’t take my voice!”

On February 9th 2011, two deputies from the El Paso County Sheriff’s Department Colorado Springs, (EPSO) stopped by my home and relieved me of my badge, gun and ID. Most people visiting my website had no idea I was a Reserve (volunteer) deputy, since I’ve never blogged about it but my Reserve title was posted on my bio because I was proud of it.

The following was from the termination letter that was handed to me.

“The termination is a result of you conducting paranormal and unidentified flying object investigations into animal mutilations, and then publicly contradicting and being critical of official Sheriff’s Office investigations in a public forum. Although you have claimed not to have represented yourself as a Sheriff’s Office Reserve Deputy, the media reports allude to you as “volunteer El Paso County Sheriff’s Department deputy.” This adversarial position, without having full knowledge of the information gathered by detectives, is unacceptable.”

The contradiction falls upon the department from their PR spokes person, LT. Lari Sevene, who either lied or was too lazy to read the Case Report before she spoke to Fox News Denver. The case involved two strange horse deaths which were investigated separately by me and two detective’s from my department. The two deputies who went to the crime scene noted on the Case Report that the animals in questioned were killed by unknown circumstances so it must be an Animal Cruelty Case because even though they found no evidence of human involvement, they also found no evidence of predator involvement. So not to leave the case open, the detectives in question stated, Animal Cruelty assuming it had to be done by a human.

When the PR person spoke with Fox News, she stated it was a predator that killed the two horses which is in direct conflict to what the Case Report stated. So, she either lied by violated department policy by not stating what the Case Report said, or she was just inept and didn’t do her job by reading the Case Report first. Either way it was EPSO’s fault why? Because as I’ve always stated, animal mutilations, like cattle mutilations are a crime and do fall under the Animal Cruelty scenario because there’s no evidence another animal caused the death.

I stated to Fox News that the two horses in question died due to unusual circumstances. The lack of human and predator evidence along with the surgical-like incisions, made this case a typical animal mutilation case of paranormal type. Some departments like mine, don’t like to leave cases like this one open, so they close it out by assumption. There was no evidence of an animal killing these horses and even though there is no evidence of a human doing it, we must assume it was a human. Why? Because God forbid it was done by something we know nothing about.

With over 10,000 animal mutilation’s since the 1967 Snippy the Horse incident out of Colorado, no law enforcement agency has been able to catch who was ever involved. But in my case, my commander and some others, not all, didn’t like what I did on my spare time. They actually told me I had to stop, in which I told them to F-off. So they eventually fired me, ha ha. Now I’m laughing at their stupidity.

Oh, if you Google, these three words, “deputy fired ufo”, it will be me.

So that was then and this is now. In the past few years here are some of the accomplishments our Federal Government has done pertaining to UFOs. There is a corolation between cattle or animal mutilations and UFO’s because a few of my investigations the ranchers have stated seeing crafts, lights in the sky and lights on their property before a mutilation.

US Accomplishments:

  • December 16th, 2007 New York Times:
$600 Billion annual Defense Department budget had UFO program.
The program began in 2007 and was largely funded at the request of Harry Reid, the Nevada Democrat who was the Senate Majority Leader at the time. Most of that money was sent to aerospace research company owned by longtime friend and billionaire, Robert Bigelow.

Personal note: I also worked with Bigelow labs later on material I found at the Roswell Debris Site.

  • April 28th, 2020 CNBC:
Released footage shows unidentified objects flying at high speeds in the Earth’s atmosphere along with audio of Navy pilots expressing shock and awe. It was initially leaked in 2007 and 2017. The U.S Navy formalized a reporting process in 2019 for pilots to report incidents of UFO sightings.
  • March 23rd, 2021 Washington Post:
Last years 2020 gargantuan $2.3 trillion appropriations bill also included a section on Advanced Aerial Threats. A 180 day countdown began giving intelligence officials until June to deliver lawmakers their write-up on Advanced Aerial Threats.
  • June 25th 2021, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence released the long awaited “unclassified report” of the Preliminary Assessment of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena.

Even though their report didn’t say ET was responsible for the unknown craft sightings, what they did say was, out of all 144 sighting cases given to them from USG sources or U.S. industry development programs, only “one” case was identifiable, a large deflating balloon, the other 143 cases fall into the “Other” category, or what we call, a UFO.

  • Excerpts from the UAP Document 25 June 2021:

UAP PROBABLY LACK A SINGLE EXPLANATION:
The UAP documented in this limited dataset demonstrate an array of aerial behaviors, reinforcing the possibility there are multiple types of UAP requiring different explanations. Our analysis of the data supports the construct that if and when individual UAP incidents are resolved they will fall into one of five potential explanatory categories:

* Airborne Clutter: These objects include birds, balloons, recreational unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), or airborne debris like plastic bags that muddle a scene and affect an operator’s ability to identify true targets, such as enemy aircraft.

* Natural Atmospheric Phenomena: Natural atmospheric phenomena includes ice crystals, moisture, and thermal fluctuations that may register on some infrared and radar systems.

* USG or Industry Developmental Programs: Some UAP observations could be attributable to developments and classified programs by U.S. entities. We were unable to confirm, however, that these systems accounted for any of the UAP reports we collected.

* Foreign Adversary Systems: Some UAP may be technologies deployed by China, Russia, another nation, or a non-governmental entity.

* Other: Although most of the UAP described in our dataset probably remain unidentified due to limited data or challenges to collection processing or analysis, we may require additional scientific knowledge to successfully collect on, analyze and characterize some of them. We would group such objects in this category pending scientific advances that allowed us to better understand them. The UAPTF intends to focus additional analysis on the small number of cases where a UAP appeared to display unusual flight characteristics or signature management.

  • June 9th 2022 Washington Post:
NASA is joining the hunt for UFO’s.
  • July 20th, 2022 Defense News:
Washington- After only eight months of existence, the Pentagon’s office tasked with investigation and tracking UFOs will look beyond the stars for objects of interest. the Pentagon announced that it renamed and expanded the authority of the government’s chief UFO office. Formerly known as the Airborne Objects Identification and Management Group, the office will be now know as the All-Domain-Anomaly Resolution Office or AARO.
  • April, 2023, US government was tracking more than 650 potential UFO cases, Pentagon says.
  • April 21st, 2023, Pentagon releases video of UFO flying over active combat zone in Middle East.
  • October 31st, 2023, DOD Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Office Launches New UFO Reporting Tool.
  • December 14th, 2023, New York Times: Congress Orders U.F.O. Records Released but Drops Bid for Broader Disclosure.
  • February 24th, 2024, The Department of Defense All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office released a report on the Historical Record of U.S. Government Involvement with Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP)

Now in June of 2024, Law Enforcement Agencies are getting a “heads-up” on UFOs too!

The Major Cities Chiefs Association (MCCA) is a professional organization of police executives representing the largest cities in the United States and Canada.

The mission of MCCA is to provide a forum for police executives from large population centers to address the challenges and issues of policing, to influence national and international policy that affects police services, to enhance the development of current and future police leaders, and to encourage and sponsor research that advances this mission.

The (MCCA) has designed a UAP Reference Guide for law enforcement agencies across the US and Canada. This guide consisting of 11 pages or sections, covers a wide range of information on UFOs.

Note: Too bad this guide didn’t exist back in 2011, I probably wouldn’t have been fired.

The issues I’ve had with some law enforcement agencies is either their misunderstanding or lack of knowelege when it comes to UFOs. Now that the (MCCA) came out with an informational guide on UFOs for law enforcement, it will make working with them a lot easier. Peer pressure has always been an issue with many law enforcement agencies and now the pressure is off on the topic of UFOs, especially when a very creditable organization takes the time to professionally inform law enforcement agencies.

The United States Department of Justices stated, about 21% (53.8 million) of U.S. residents age 16 or older had contact with police in 2020. Yep, law enforcement agencies on an average make over 50 million contacts a year with residents. They also spend a lot of time patrolling 24 hours a day not only in the city but rural areas as well. Many law enforcement officers have had their own personal sightings, and in the past they were afraid to talk about them.

When I was a deputy with El Paso County Sheriff’s Department in Colorado, I was nicknamed, the Fox Mulder of El Paso County. Mulder the character from the X-Files TV show, was a FBI agent who investigated the paranormal. I’ve had so many law enforcement individuals from different agencies tell me their UFO or paranormal-type experiences because they were afraid of being ridiculed or even reprimanded for speaking out. They would only talk to someone who could not only understand what they experienced, but also they trusted. From State Patrol to County, to City to Marshals, I’ve heard stories from all of them. Now things are different, the Pentagon is investigating UFOs along with NASA and now our law enforcement agencies are getting briefed too!

I’d like to thank the MCCA for releasing the UAP guide and it’s about damn time somebody with organizational clout did. Here’s the link to the reference guide, not sure how long it will be available, so check it out and, “Copy That… Code 4.”
