Team of experts leads the U.S. government’s efforts to address Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) using a rigorous scientific framework and a data-driven approach.

Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) means (A) airborne objects that are not immediately identifiable; (B) transmedium objects or devices; (C) and submerged objects or devices that are not immediately identifiable and that display behavior or performance characteristics suggesting that the objects or devices may be related to the objects or devices described in subparagraph (A) or (B). (Per the NDAA FY23 Section 1673(d)(8)).
The DoW (Dept. of War) considers Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) as sources of anomalous detections in one or more domain (i.e., airborne, seaborne, spaceborne, and/or transmedium) that are not yet attributable to known actors and that demonstrate behaviors that are not readily understood by sensors or observers.
“Anomalous detections” include but are not limited to phenomena that demonstrate apparent capabilities or material that exceed known performance envelopes. A UAP may consist of one or more unidentified anomalous objects and may persist over an extended period of time.

Some people are afraid of releasing information about UAP/UFOs to AARO due to violating an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) This is a legal contract between the individual and the company or organization they are working for or have been working for, which binds them to secrecy. I’ve signed multiple agreements like this in my career of microchip design which basically binds me from disclosing information about the commercial and government projects I’ve worked on. But now when it comes to UFOs, there’s an allowance to legally break NDAs.
Fox news reported on July 21st, 2026, that President Trump directed federal agencies to waive prior nondisclosure agreements (NDAs) for former government employees and contractors cooperating with unidentified anomalous phenomena investigations. But in reality, the president didn’t have to do that because of this:
– Under the James M. Inhofe National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2023, individuals are legally permitted to report Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) data to the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) without fear of violating any current or former non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
So, if you see or hear about any current or former government employee refusing to elaborate on UFO material they claim to know about but refuse to talk about due to NDA’s; Well, it’s probably because they fabricated the story for attention.
What’s interesting under this current presidential administration is the push for UFO Disclosure. Not only are they collecting eyewitness data, but they’re running their own high-tech surveillance projects. One such project is, the GREMLIN Project.
The GREMLIN project was developed by the Georgia Tech. Institute. It’s a highly portable, deployable UFO detection and tracking kit developed by (AARO). Designed to monitor Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs) in real-time, the system allows the military to establish surveillance baselines and rapidly respond to reported airspace intrusions at national security sites
Core Capabilities: Hyperspectral Surveillance: Collects data across the entire electromagnetic spectrum. This includes X-rays, ultraviolet rays, microwaves, and radio waves.
Sensor Integration: Blends 2D and 3D radars, Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) tracking, and radio frequency (RF) monitors.
Rapid Deployment: It’s compact and configurable enough to fit inside standard Pelican travel cases for quick dispatch to maritime ranges, restricted airspaces, or public areas.
The GREMLIN sensor suite contains several sensing modalities to detect, track, characterize and identify UAPs in areas of interest.
The project went under a number of initial field tests in a large military training range in Texas monitoring drone targets while eliminating common objects like, birds, bats, satellites and small aircraft. My guess is GREMLIN was/is being tested at Fort Bliss Texas because in February 2026, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) suddenly shut down a 10-mile radius of airspace around the El Paso International Airport.
There were later reports the Pentagon was conducting tests of advanced high-energy laser weapons which GREMLIN could have been a part of.
Currently GREMLIN is working in undisclosed national security sites where there’s been high volume of aerial activity and historically been a hotspot for UFOs.
Locations which I investigated like, the San Luis Valley in Colorado, West Uintah County, in Utah, the Bradshaw Ranch area in Sedona, Arizona, and Lincoln County, New Mexico where the 1947 Roswell incident took place, in my opinion would be prime areas to keep an eye on. Other areas of interest would be Nevada near ’51, Missouri near Clearwater Lake and Salem, and Texas, between Houstin and San Antonio.
As for us UFO field investigators who don’t have access to expensive government projects like Gremlin to help us investigate UFOs, we have to rely on our own skills and tools of our trade. I use a day-time infra red camera, EMF meters, 3000mm zoom field camera, lightning strike monitors (looking for energy hits) and other cool gadgets including my experimental projects.
I also have a UAP Detector Model (ET302W) by ET3 Design Inc. It has a 3-axis gravitational sensor, 3-axis magnetic field sensor, and Electromagnetic field sensor. This detector out in the field is able to pick up any type of UFO activity in the area. Designed by William DiPoala, who served as a Principal Development Engineer at Robert Bosch GmbH (Bosch) for over 35 years, came up with this cool idea then built it.
It’s nice to know that after years of trying, we’re now getting the government publicly involved in UFOlogy. And we’re seeing some progress! And even though the Gremlin project was designed to detect UAPs, it can do something else too! If needed, it can easily run “target characterization”. This means it can be used to also detect foreign country threats. It can quickly identify and classify the exact type of terrestrial drone it’s picking up. Meaning? It can detect adversarial bomb drones which are currently being used in Iranian and Ukrainian battlefields.
So, not only can the Gremlin program detect those pesky Alien crafts cruising around us from time to time, but can also detect battlefield drones from Third World threats!
So, a win, win, for all of us, especially here in the good-ole, USofA.
